Who knows what prompts these things, but Forbes has attempted to rank “America’s most sinful cities” based on matching the seven deadly sins with research statistics. Charlotte-Mecklenburg is ranked the second most jealous metropolis in the nation, based on its rate of crimes against other people’s property.
Just for interest, Washington D.C. is no. 7 in wrath, no. 6 in lust, and no. 9 in avarice.
