After Lexington City residents got word that their city leaders had been funding a failing program, and that this program was a tax-payer subsidized golf course, City Manager, John Gray defended the city’s decision to operate the course.  He claimed that the study’s author, Dr. Michalel Sanera, had misled the public with his numbers.  How ironic it must have been when Michael pointed out that in fact it was Gray who was manipulating numbers.  Not only that, Michael also pointed out the bigger issue: is it really the role of local government to be subsidizing a golf course? It’s just another boondoggle waiting to happen.  Or, if you want to look at it the glass half-full: it’s just another story for Don.
