In Cherokee, West is beating West (Roger is beating Tim, that is) in the Republican state house race. Mike Rey has about 2/3 of the vote in the sheriff’s primary. The Democrats are not having a primary for sheriff. The folks out in Cherokee love Heath Shuler and Dan [Dr. Dan] Eichenbaum.
From here on out, barring updates to the contrary, we’ll just assume Burr and Marshall have the Senate primaries all sewn up.
