As a general rule, I don’t like surveys. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one presented with the amount of rigor we were told in college was a minimum. So, yesterday, I was visiting some friends for dinner. Civitas called. One guy picked up the phone, started answering questions, and tried to get somebody else to answer the rest of them. At one point, he remarked, “I had to say Bev Perdue was doing a good job so she could get one vote.”
