One of the byproducts of climate change alarmism is the push to mandate inefficient, overly expensive energy sources. JLF Legal and Regulatory Policy Analyst Daren Bakst joined with representatives of the N.C. Public Interest Research Group (NCPIRG) and the N.C. Waste Awareness Reduction Network (NCWARN) to highlight one of the bad ideas circulating in North Carolina: Duke Energy’s Save-A-Watt program. The News & Observer published a joint op ed on the topic. Meanwhile, Paul Chesser of Climate Strategies Watch traveled to Colorado to share his knowledge of the left-leaning groups promoting global warming alarmism. Chesser delivered a luncheon speech to Colorado legislators, appeared in the Denver Post, and granted interviews to Denver’s KNUS and KOA Radio.
