Finally, a study to confirm what I always thought: people don’t like
clowns. Specifically, some British researchers surveyed kids aged
4-16 and they found
the kids disliked clowns. It wasn’t the biggest sample in the
world (250 kids), but it still provides much-needed ammunition in the
war against clowns.
This quote from the article says it all:
“We found that clowns are universally disliked by children. Some found them quite frightening and unknowable.”
I have no idea what it means that the clowns were found to be “unknowable,” but I agree with it anyway.
