It’s a shame that the Democrats are fielding such a gaggle of geeks for this year’s election. A weak Democrat challenge to Republicans seems always to mean Republicans moving left. For president, Election 2004 is shaping up to be a Hobson’s choice for conservatives: either you take the big-government Republican, or you don’t and get some dork from the Democrat’s slim pickin’s.
