Big MSM anchors and stars really ought to read some blogs. Yesterday, on “Face the Nation,” Bob Schieffer seemed confused when Sen. Trent Lott said that all the media reports about the GOP trying to block debate on the various Iraq resolutions were, as my Dad used to say, bass ackwards. As NewsBusters reported:
A befuddled Schieffer asked about the spin which dominated the media
early in the week: ?How can all of them have been wrong?? Lott
explained: ?Because we didn’t block debate. Actually, the vote was to
continue debate.?
There’s something wrong when casual blog readers know more about issues than network anchors.
