The Leland Tribune liked JLF Vice President for Research Roy Cordato‘s recent column about the big-government approach to social problems. As Cordato wrote, “when coercion is your only tool, every problem looks like too much freedom.” Cordato also appeared in a News & Observer story examining U.S. poverty rates 40 years after Martin Luther King’s death. The News & Observer also printed a letter today from JLF Executive Assistant Melissa Mitchell, who questioned a new television ad campaign in which Gov. Mike Easley urges children to nag their parents about water conservation.
