Whatever you think of the Democratic Senate leadership’s budget proposal, this assessment seems a bit of a stretch:
Children and teachers would take a hit in budget cuts proposed Monday by Democratic leaders in the state Senate.
Because there would be a couple more kids in each classroom? Not likely.
Lawmakers hoping to help improve education without breaking the bank will find good ideas here.
