Governor Cooper’s Commission on Access to Sound Basic Education meets today. The mission of the group is to “assess the State of North Carolina’s ability to staff schools with competent, well-trained teachers and principals and the State’s commitment of resources to public education.”  Let’s face it.  The mission of the group is to demand more money from taxpayers.

Charter schools are not represented in the group of 17 appointees, most of whom lean Left or have ties to Governor Cooper.
