The growth of virtual schools, in which kids are educated online, is making some Denver public school officials nervous. You guessed it — their concern is the money they’ll lose when parents choose how their kids will receive an education, and don’t choose the traditional system. There IS good news to this story, however. As it always does, competition has forced those comfortable with the education status quo to start realizing they’re providing a service and that their customers are beginning to have other choices.
