Of course, lots of bed wetters will quibble with the notion that killing an armed teenager is a success, but since the innocent victim is still alive, I’ll call it a success. At least there was no police officer quoted as saying people should not arm themselves and should wait for professional law enforcement officers. Tell that to Damon Wells of Cleveland, who might not be alive today if he hadn’t had a completely legal concealed weapon on his person.
And to top it all off, the thug’s parents are upset that Wells hasn’t been charged. Where were they when their kid needed responsible child rearing? He would still be alive if they’d done their jobs.
