Sad to see that Repo Records will close up shop at the end of the month. I didn’t mean to do it.

I cannot tell you the last time I purchased music in a store for myself, let alone prowled the racks of an indy store like Repo. I’ve gotten things like movie soundtracks for my boys — how many different versions of Star Wars music do your need? — but that is it. Anything obscure I find in digital form, usually via RealNetwork’s Rhapsody music service. Also, Sirius satellite radio blows up any need for CDs for the car. That just squeezes the Repos of the world out.

So, you see, society is to blame.
