The Asheville Tribune recently reported a story of medical records being donated to a Minnesota school for children to color on the backs of them. Yesterday, in downtown Asheville, a box of medical records en route for shredding fell off a truck, resulting in the scattering of the contents. Staff from the doctor’s office with the help of city sanitation workers and passersby presumably gathered all the information discreetly.
