Every now and then one amongst us does something that needs to be noted. Yes, we have lots of TV, Radio and print media attention but it isn’t that often that staff receives special recognition.
Paul Messino joined the NC Junior Chamber of Commerce in May of this year. He competed in a speech competition in August (which he won) and had to compete at the state competition this past weekend. He also competed in an essay contest and placed in the top five in the state which meant he had to compete this past weekend for that title as well.
In a truly impressive performance, Paul won the statewide speech competition AND the statewide essay contest. He will now compete against the statwide essay winner for the first half of the year, that winner will represent NC in national competition in March.
