I just heard that the Riverside Pirates have defeated Garner to get to the state 4AA championship game. Problem is, they have to play Independence from Charlotte, which has won a bunch in a row. But the good part is that the Pirates won’t have to face Chris Leak (at U. Fla.) or Joe Cox and Mohammed Massaquoi (both at UGa).
