No kidding. The power grab is accomplished by changing “navigable waters” to just “waters of the United States” in the proposed Clean Water Restoration Act of 2007.
If passed, I wonder how this will impact sporadic water shortages that occur now every eight or 10 years during periods of drought. With the feds in control I think we can expect shortages, oh, every 18 months. If the bleeding heart bureaucrats get involved they’ll decide what families deserve water more, and you can bet it won’t be people living in McMansions, or even non-government subsidized housing.
