Constitutional challenge of driver’s license checkpoint kicked back to lower court

The N.C. Supreme Court has vacated an appeals court ruling that would have allowed a DWI suspect to challenge on constitutional grounds evidence gathered as part of a 2006 driver’s license checkpoint in Pitt County.

The case now heads back to a Pitt County courtroom.
