Even though pre-season football’s just getting into motion, Stealer’s faithful Terry Stoops has already got his hard-hat on.  School construction, a headache that’s aggravating voter apathy, is on nearly everyone’s mind – and Terry is no exception. This week he released his newest Spotlight, “Wake’s Edifice Complex,” whose release featured an imbedded link to a video interview.  As a member of Wake County’s Citizen’s Facilities Advisory Committee, Terry is like peas and carrots with the area’s facility needs (and wants). So far, his Spotlight has caused a bit of a stir on the News & Observer‘s Ed blog. Outside of Wake County, Lindalyn Kakadelis tackles the same problem, this time in Mint Hill where she spoke with the Mint Hill Times on how charter schools could help save tax payers money on school construction.
