  • $1,000,000.00 to the U.S. National Whitewater Center, from Mecklenburg County. The Charlotte Observer. February 18, 2009
  • $120,000.00 to Snap-On, Inc. by the One North Carolina Fund. The Asheville Citizen Times. February 19, 2009.
  • $88,000.00 to Limco-Piedmont, Inc. by the One North Carolina Fund and Forsyth County. The Winston-Salem Journal. February 15, 2009.
  • $17,000.00 to Tyson Foods Inc. by the Town of Wilkesboro contingent upon meeting goals. The Winston-Salem Journal. February 19, 2009. (Another $50,000 incentive is under consideration)
