My “Reparations for Coulter” column has upset some Coulter fans who I think gave only cursory reads before lettin’ fly and typing a “blue” streak. I don’t think any of them got past the beginning of my second paragraph, which was the setup to the joke.
One guy, posting as “the big mick,” barked out the following, with all the requisite allusions to Hitler, communism, and homosexuality along with some more mundane attacks:
Seems to me Coulter said the same thing in less words–what the classics regard as “the soul of wit.” Not only was everything she said TRUE, she was WAY Funnier than you!
Hatred gets it foothold in people like you who wish to silence the Truth of others.
