Jackson County Sheriff Jimmy Ashe keeps making news. First, the ACLU said he was using traffic checkpoints to try to find undocumented minorities. (Did I say that softly enough?) Then, he got in trouble for dragging his feet in issuing certain alcohol permits. Now, he’s in trouble for deleting emails sent in the line of duty as a public servant. To top it all off, Ashe has a reputation for holding the media in low esteem and not wishing to cooperate with its representatives. This kind of behavior usually accompanies the release of a new movie or album.
