A 2-1 split N.C. Court of Appeals panel reversed a lower court ruling and threw out a 2008 Pitt County drunk driving case. The majority ruled that a state trooper should not have stopped a driver near the private Rock Springs Equestrian Club solely on the basis of seeing the driver “weaving from the center line to the fog line.”
