Here is his latest column, which is especially effective in arguing that added government spending cannot possibly solve our economic troubles. That’s because government spending DOES NOT CREATE WEALTH. In fact, it gets in the way of businesses and individuals who want to profitably produce and sell goods and services that people want.
Government absorbs wealth and wastes resources. That is the great lesson Americans need to learn. Maybe Obama will actually help bring that about.
