Lyn May is studying creative writing at Warren Wilson College. Her coverage of the school’s hosted panel on sustainable investing, for the Mountain Xpress, focused on the remarks of Patagonia’s Chief Storyteller Vincent Stanley. The show wasn’t entirely about socially conscious people not investing in fossil fuels because that is bad for climate change. Stanley told of companies not getting so big they can’t care about the impact of bad merchandise on customers.
