I’ve read hundreds of articles on the legislative abomination known as Obamacare, but this one by David Henderson and Charles Hooper is about as good as it gets.
They take a “big picture” approach and observe that Obamacare is a giant step in the direction of a fully politicized health care system. Politicized health care means that you, a mere individual citizen, will have little power to get what you want.
The authors refer to Obamacare as the “Soviet Unionization” of health care. No, things won’t immediately be as bad here as they were in the Soviet Union, but we’ll be heading in that direction.
