This is a fascinating Facebook post for two reasons. First, it is a good example of the way that teachers obtain instructional materials. There is no stockpile of common, standards-aligned resources for teachers to access. Instead, many search the internet for materials, activities, and assessments that they find appealing. While this arrangement is fine for experienced teachers, new educators struggle may struggle to accumulate adequate and appropriate content.
Second, it is amusing that teachers claim that educators do not use curricula informed by critical race theory, and yet they recommend that the new teacher check out the 1619 Project and Teaching Tolerance (now called Learning for Justice).
