It is nice that they make things, but sad they need forced tax dollars to pad their bottom line. Perhaps better R&D and marketing departments could help things sell below cost a little better. The sweetheart deal includes $4.7 million in cash from state taxpayers plus $500,000 from smokers for Blue Ridge Community College to train leaders. Surely, Mills River and Henderson County taxpayers are sweetening the pot as well.
