The United States needs a new foreign policy, an end to Obamacare, and other major changes from the current course set by President Barack Obama’s administration. That’s the assessment of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, a presidential candidate who outlined his alternative vision for federal government policy during a Headliner speech for the John Locke Foundation.
Cruz has been a vocal proponent of scrapping the Affordable Care Act. One audience member asked whether Republicans would have an alternative ready to go by the time the new president takes office in 2017, and whether the GOP will be willing to make that change.
