Thirteen households in the CTS scare area have been urged, not ordered, to immediately evacuate by the EPA. Citizens have been concerned since 1999 about “an oily substance oozing up in springs.” In other words, if the EPA takes itself seriously, it needed fifteen years of exposure to process the complaints.
That was Friday. Today, the Supreme Court ruled that the homeowners cannot sue CTS because the statute of limitations has expired. The company abandoned the site in 1987.
