Is it just me, or is it rather interesting that after the big brouhaha over Newsweek’s anonymous source put the press on the defensive, Deep Throat, the world’s most infamous anonymous source, comes out of hiding to validate just how important–and correct–an anonymous source is to the press?
Somehow a part of me thinks that there was more than fame and mental geriatric instability behind this one. Any conspiracy theorists out there want to take a stab at it?
