Here’s N&R coverage of Davidson’s win over UNCG at the Greensboro Coliseum; Ed Hardin’s column, which I read twice with an open mond and still can’t figure out what he’s talking about. Maybe it’s me, but Hardin seems to have a knack for attending a game and writing about everything but the game.

I definitely agree that it was an exciting atmosphere. The Spartan Club was packed, and I saw more than a few faces I recognized, including Chancellor Linda Brady and Sen. Don Vaughn, fesh off his co-sponsorship of the bill restoring the protest petition to Greensboro.

As for the game, Steph Curry has one sweet shot, though it was an “off night,” while UNCG clanged a lot of good looks. Bottom line is the quality of the product needs to improve considerably for the Spartans’ relationship with the coliseum to be successful.
