John Trump writes for Carolina Journal’s Daily Journal that the information is out there, and it’s incumbent on local newspaper reporters and editors, as well as radio and online outlets, to help people get that information. This is important to remember during the upcoming election season, and its up to voters to make informed decisions at the polls.

An indication that the information is out there is a study by Wake Forest University law professors Ron Wright, Kami Chavis, and Gregory Parks.

They, with the help of some 100 others, collected statistics about felony trial jury selection across all of North Carolina’s counties as part of his research regarding jury selection. It’s called the “Jury Sunshine Project.”
