At the NC State Board of Education meeting yesterday, Lt. Gov. Dan Forest pointed out that the NC Department of Public Instruction’s annual charter school report “did not have a lot of positive things to say.” He predicted that the report would become “the fuel the media uses for the next year to criticize whatever we’re doing.”
Today, the News & Observer ran a story titled, “Charter schools in NC less diverse than traditional schools, report shows.”
