U.S. Rep. David Price, D-NC, might be a Tennessee native but his years of living in North Carolina have taught him how to appreciate pork. Taxpayers for Common Sense has listed earmark totals for all 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Price is the top porker among the North Carolina delegation, coming in at No. 32. The list shows that he sponsored or co-sponsored earmarks totaling $83.3 million. He has sponsored alone more than $13 million in earmarks. Republican Robin Hayes also shows a taste for pig meat. He comes in second on the list with $63.5 million total and $8.1 million sponsored alone.
