Interventionists need a steady parade of “issues” to both satisfy and justify their penchant for crashing around with authoritarian decrees that deprive others of liberty and property. Among the current crop of “issues” is Wal-Mart. Just mention the name and the typical leftist begins to seethe with indignation over the imagined abuses and harms done by this successful chain.
