Those are the terms my good friend Jacob Hornberger uses in discussing the two types of people and their reactions to “official” information from government. Specifically, he contrasts the two with respect to the Kennedy assassination in this piece. (If you know little about that, there is a huge literature that calls into question — if not entirely demolishes — the “official” government conclusion that Oswald acted alone. Hornberger has contributed much to it.)
