And not just her, but every Democrat currently acting surprised that, well, you can’t keep your health insurance policy and your doctor if you like them.

Maybe not in those stark words, but on ABC yesterday NY Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s assertion that “everybody,” meaning Democrats, knew all along that hundreds of thousands of health insurance plans would have to be cancelled due to Obamacare’s rules and regulations runs counter to NC Sen. Kay Hagan’s assertions to the contrary for the past four years.

Here’s Gillibrand on ABC Sunday (the key moment is at 1:27):

Meanwhile, videos of Hagan saying numerous times over the last four years that people could keep their plans and their doctors if they like them have been making the YouTube rounds. She made these assertions despite having voted specifically to prohibit just that:

Not only did Senator Kay Hagan, who was swept into office on Obama’s 2008 coattails, falsely claim at least 24 times that Americans would be able to keep their existing insurance after Obamacare was rammed through, but she also voted against a 2010 proposal that would have protected those plans now being cancelled.
