Dear LGBT Community:
I am engaged in writing for certain media outlets for concern that local government is growing out of control – promising everything, delivering waste, and never having enough revenue. I have absolutely zero interest in what you and your friends do with your genitalia, and your placing it before me as a government issue in need of coverage requires that I either lower my standards to talk trash or rise above the spectacle, treat you with respect and discretion, and ignore your exploits. I choose the latter. I do not apologize for holding you to a higher standard. Out of mutual respect, I will not require you to recite Bible verses, and you will not harbor any expectation that I will write about things my conscience deems prurient.
