Healthcare Solutions Week

When it comes to reforming our nation’s health care delivery system, both sides of the political spectrum seek to achieve the “triple aim” —  quality, access, and an increase in overall health. A way in which this can be realized is through direct primary care, where patients pay their physician a monthly fee in return for longer appointment times and better coordinated care. Meanwhile, physicians are freed from increasingly complex third party paperwork.

Also known as “concierge” medicine, direct primary care has been around for some time. But due to more regulations and time-consuming compliance issues under Obamacare, this innovative model is becoming more popular.
