• Meantime, the ozy.com website, targeted at Millennials, compares 2nd District Democratic contender Clay Aiken to the late Sonny Bono — another entertainer-turned-politician — and suggests Aiken keep his day job.

• Left-wing Washington Post blogger Greg Sargent looks at the U.S. Senate races nationally and says the position taken on Obamacare by House Speaker Thom Tillis, R-Mecklenburg, demonstrates a “repeal problem” Republicans have regarding the health care law.
