• A new Crossroads GPS ad uses an attack Democrat Kay Hagan used in 2008 assailing then-Sen. Elizabeth Dole’s support of former President Bush to note that, over the past six years as senator, Hagan has backed President Obama even more.

• The camp of GOP Senate nominee Thom Tillis is touting a news report from WTVD in which, at a press conference following Tuesday night’s debate, Hagan admitted to reporter Jon Camp that she indeed skipped a national security hearing for a fundraiser.

• The pro-life group Women Speak Out PAC is returning to the airwaves with ads that criticize Hagan’s support of some late-term abortions.

• The next (and perhaps final) Senate debate is tomorrow night in Wilmington, and Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh will participate.

• The Cumberland County Bar hosted an event featuring 15 judicial candidates, including nine of the 19 seeking a vacant seat on the state Court of Appeals.
