JLF’s Michael Sanera delivered some inconvenient facts to the climate change alarmists in Apex, where there’s a dust-up on the town council over a “green” resolution that’s been proposed by Councilman Bill Jensen.

Now comes this Cary News story.

Jensen, a retired engineer, owns Apex Solar Electric.

He says he’s not championing the resolution for personal gain.

“I have pushed for renewable energy for forever, long before this,” he said. “I’m just doing this on the side.”

He added: “Maybe it looks terrible. But if you look at the suggestions put in [the resolution], they’re not to say we need to strictly pursue solar energy.”

Four of the nine ideas outlined in Jensen’s resolution are related to solar energy systems.

I don’t doubt that Councilman Jensen has a long standing interest in solar and other renewables but it does bring up an interesting question about where a council person’s expertise ends and where his/her special interest begins.
