But the state Department of Crime Control and Public Safety said that the list is supposed to be a secret.
“They
mentioned those sites in a public document?” said Renee Hoffman, the
department’s director of public affairs. “They shouldn’t do that.
That’s not a good idea. … That’s like telling the terrorists ‘Oh,
come here, visit this one.’ “
Let’s see–malls, sports and concert venues, power plants and a
pipeline. Nobody would have thought they were good targets without a
list from county staff.
