On the US Airways/Delta slot swap. The deal can go forward only if 20 LaGuardia and 14 Reagan National sets of slots are sold at auction to low-cost carriers or new entrants, but with, in a new twist, limits on how many slots an individual carrier can pick up. (Translation: Southwest can’t get them all.)
So now back in Delta and US Airways’ court to so if they can live with this.
And now for the Rosebuds.
Update: That didn’t take long. US Airways and Delta said “hell no” and intend to take the matter to court.
