News reports on the power outages in the Charlotte area yesterday do not quite seem to get the entire picture. For one, the Tuesday outage that began at 6:20pm followed a Monday outage that began at 6:20pm. Tuesday’s outage did last about an hour longer, stretching to almost 9pm.
If the same thing happens today around 6:20pm I’ll really start to wonder about those substation “glitches” and figure that Duke must’ve paid handsomely for all the customer service awards it touts.
