Speaking of Guilford County Manager Brenda Jones Fox—-from the Rhino’s story on her announced retirement:
Word spread quickly through county employees and former county employees. Many were overjoyed upon hearing the news.
During her time as county manager, Fox’s administrative methods and highly questionable backroom deals led to a lot of discontent among the county’s 2,500 employees, and many were overjoyed at the news that Fox was stepping down.
Even former county employees were cheering as word spread.
“I’m having a margarita now” one former county employee said Friday morning. “I’m staring Cinco de Mayo early.”
Can’t help but wonder how much work got done that day.
