As expected, Debbie Crane’s firing by Gov. Mike Whatshisname is smoking out dissenters.
First up is Dempsey Benton, head of the state Department of Health and Human Services, to flatly deny that he fired Crane as the governor’s operatives had said. In fact, now it is clear that the governor’s deputy press secretary Seth Effron was lying when he told reporters on Tuesday that HHS had fired Crane.
No, this was a political hit job ordered up directly by the governor himself. This is important. This fact will drive more underlings to jump ship. After all, if the big boss won’t protect you, what is the point of being part of the gang?
Next keep your eyes peeled for a “smoking email” that lays out instructions to destroy emails. I gotta believe that some member of the gang kept such a hole card around for exactly such End Times.
