At last night’s meeting, the Guilford County Board of Education awarded a $40.2 million contract to Barnhill Construction to rebuild Eastern Guilford High School.
Good for them, except for the fact that they’re $30 million short. I’m no accountant, but that might be a problem. They might let the Guilford County Commissioners hash it out. I’m no political expert, but that might be a problem. Commissioners could “target $15 million in capital outlay funds and state lottery proceeds.” That might be a problem*.
